• Faster pick-up - When you arrive at any Avis location, your rental paperwork will be pre-prepared.
  And the Avis Preferred experience only gets better at Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide airports where if you have rented with us before you can bypass the counter completely and go straight to your car for pick-up.
  At these locations we’ll send you notification of the bay number where to find your car. The keys will be in the vehicle ready to go.

^How Additional Drivers work with Avis Preferred

All Additional and Included Drivers must meet the conditions of Avis Standard Rental Agreement, including but not limited to Avis age and Driver Licence requirements.

If it’s a partner or work colleague you would like to share the drive with, they automatically qualify as complimentary included drivers without the need to add them to your booking.

For the one Free Additional Driver in addition to your partner or work colleague, you are required to add this additional driver to your booking with the Avis team at time of pick-up. This additional driver must accompany you at time of pick-up and present their full and valid Driver Licence for validation by the Avis team.
